The Babelphone mobile app is basically a VoIP Call Translator. Its unique strength lies in enabling you to dial any number (local or international) and have the conversation automatically transcribed, translated, and spoken aloud in a natural voice to the person on the other end, complete with recordings for export.
Apple's AirPods Translation is designed to replace a pocket translator during physical, face-to-face interactions. It uses the AirPods as a microphone and the iPhone/Watch as the processing and display unit to facilitate a smooth verbal exchange.

I use BabelPhone and love it! it's so useful to talk with my distant family even just on holidays and special occasions. I also ordered Apple iPods and waiting for them to arrive. I think BabelPhone and Apple iPods complement each other and both are usefull in different situations
