How to use the app

What does the app do?

Use the app to translate your conversations, face to face and your phone calls.

Start by selecting the language you speak and the language your partner speaks. Then from the Conversation tab click on Start and just speak normally - the app will translate what you say to the other language, sentence by sentence.

From the Dialer tab, select a number from the contacts book or enter the number manually. Then click on the Dial button to make the phone calls. Once the call is answered just speak normally - the app will translate what you say to the other language, sentence by sentence, and it will do the same for the person you call.

Yes, the app is available for Apple AppStore and Google Play. However it may not appear in all countries.

You can test the app for free but if you like to use it for long conversations then you need to buy tokens or make a subscription.

You just have to speak normally. Currently the app doesn't support typing texts - please write us if you like to add the app to support writing texts.

Yes, you can select how your translated voice will sound to the person you talk to and vice versa. Each language comes with a set of voices to choose from. Both male and female voices are supported.

Yes, you can make international calls by long pressing the '0' button in the dialer screen to add a '+' sign, then enter the full phone number, including the country code.

Yes. The app uses its own carrier for making domestic and international calls. Calls are made via the internet ('VOIP') and your carrier is not used at all.


Yes, all conversations are transcripted automatically and presented on the app's screen. After the conversation is finished you can read and browse previous conversation transcriptions and share the transcription.

Yes, all phone calls are recorded automatically. After you hangup the call you can listen to the recording and share it.

Yes, if you like to use the app for transcription only you can mute the audio translation. It's all usefull in cases when you speak the foreign language but not fluently.

The number that will appear is the app's number. In the iPhone version, you can also set your own number to appear (supported in specific locations only).

If you have an iPhone you can purchase a subscription or buy tokens via Apple AppStore, if you are using Android then you can buy tokens via Google Play
